Indemnity Agreement

Please read this waiver carefully before signing.

I, the undersigned participant, acknowledge that I am voluntarily participating in an outdoor activity or tour organised by Ruminate Travel & Adventures (hereinafter "Ruminate"), which may include hiking, trail running, adventure sports, day tours, and related activities in and around Cape Town and South Africa.

I understand and accept that outdoor activities carry inherent risks including but not limited to: uneven terrain, extreme weather, wildlife encounters, physical exhaustion, and unforeseen hazards that may result in personal injury, illness, loss of or damage to equipment, or death.

By signing below, I agree to the following:

• I voluntarily assume all risks associated with the activity and confirm I am in suitable health and physical condition to participate.
• I release and indemnify Ruminate, its guides, employees, partners and agents from any claims arising from injury, loss, or damage however caused, including negligence.
• I agree to follow all safety instructions given by Ruminate guides at all times.
• I confirm that the medical information disclosed above is accurate and complete.
• I grant Ruminate permission to seek emergency medical treatment on my behalf if I am unable to give consent, with costs to be borne by me or my insurers.
• I acknowledge that Ruminate reserves the right to exclude any participant it deems unfit or unsafe for the activity.

This waiver is governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
