Return & Refund Policy – Ruminate

Ruminate provides guided hiking experiences and outdoor adventures. As our products are scheduled services rather than physical goods, the following refund terms apply:

Cancellations by You

Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled start time are non-refundable (0% refund).
Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the scheduled start time may be eligible for a partial refund at Ruminate’s discretion, taking into account operational costs already incurred.

Late Arrivals & No-Shows

Guests arriving more than 10 minutes late will be considered a no-show.
The booking will be forfeited in full.
No refunds or reschedules will be offered for late arrivals or no-shows.

Turn-Back Policy

If a participant is unable to continue safely due to fitness level, mobility limitations, or misrepresentation of ability, the guide may turn the participant back in the interest of group safety.

In such cases, the booking will be considered partially fulfilled and no refund will be issued.

Weather & Route Adjustments

Table Mountain weather can change rapidly and unpredictably.

Ruminate reserves the right to reschedule or cancel a hike if conditions are deemed unsafe.
If Ruminate cancels due to unsafe weather conditions, wildfire risk, or official closures, clients may choose a full refund or rescheduled date (subject to availability).
Ruminate also reserves the right to adjust or change the hiking route to a safer alternative on Table Mountain if conditions require it.

Cableway closure alone does not automatically qualify for cancellation.
