Woody Ravine Guided Hike – Table Mountain

One of Table Mountain's most scenic and varied ascent routes, Woody Ravine winds through lush indigenous forest before opening onto the dramatic upper plateau. Sweeping views over Cape Town, the Atlantic Ocean, and Lions Head accompany you throughout the climb.

The Route

Your expert Ruminate guide leads you up the Woody Ravine route from the lower contour path, navigating through a cool forest canopy before tackling the rocky upper sections to the Table Mountain summit. At the top, choose how you descend: follow the thrilling Tranquillity Cracks for a dramatic rocky descent, or take the scenic Aerial Cableway ride down (cable car ticket purchased separately at the summit).

Cable Car descent: tickets are purchased at the upper cable station (approx. R490 per adult). The Aerial Cableway is subject to seasonal maintenance closures and weather conditions. Check cableway status before your hike.
